France’s parliament has survived a no-confidence vote, meaning its delayed 2026 budget can now go ahead.
The contested budget was introduced by Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu before the National Rally party filed a second and final no-confidence motion.
It was voted down on Monday night, local time, and marks the end of a two-year budget negotiation.
