Andrew Charlton speaks on government’s ‘soft landing’ despite inflation uptick

Cabinet Secretary Andrew Charlton joined Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell to discuss the cash rate lifting by 25 basis points.
The RBA has increased the cash rate to 3.85 per cent from 3.6 per cent.
“The soft landing is … Australia bringing down the level of inflation that we inherited, a level that peaked above seven per cent, and bringing it down to a manageable level,” Mr Charlton said.
