Japan election: Voter turnout low at 21% as of 4pm, impacted by heavy snow

As of 4pm local time, the voter turnout for Japan’s general election was 21.64%. It appears to have been impacted by the snowfall, but CNA’s Michiyo Ishida said more voters were turning up after it stopped in snowing in the afternoon in Tokyo.
