‘They’re very concerned’: King Charles’ ‘strong, unprecedented statement’ on Andrew allegations

Sky News contributor Sophie Elsworth discusses the “very strong, unprecedented statement” from Buckingham Palace about King Charles’ response to the allegations relating to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s links to Jeffrey Epstein.
“We are waiting to see what move the King does next, but he has come out today in that very strong, unprecedented statement,” she told Sky News Australia.
Buckingham Palace said in the statement that King Charles expressed his “profound concern” at the allegations about his brother, and he “stands ready to support” police in any investigation into Mountbatten-Windsor’s ties to Epstein.
“We wouldn’t expect anything less from the King, but there is no doubt they are very, very concerned inside Buckingham Palace,” Ms Elsworth said.
