US President Donald Trump and the BBC are set for a thrilling courtroom showdown, with the network facing a $US10 billion lawsuit.
The president’s lawsuit against the organisation follows a BBC Panorama documentary that doctored Trump’s speech in 2021.
The edited footage that aired in a 2024 documentary gave the impression that Trump encouraged supporters to storm the Capitol building in 2021.
Following the lawsuit, the BBC filed a motion to delay the case, but a Florida judge ordered that the trial would continue, with a date set for February 14, 2027.
