Northern Ireland’s First Minister Michelle O’Neill, Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly, Justice Minister Naomi Long, PSNI Chief Constable Jon Boutcher and Northern Ireland Policing Board Chair Brendan Mullan hold a briefing at Parliament Buildings, Stormont, following a knife attack in north Belfast.

Police appealed for calm after arresting a Sudanese man over the attack, which left one person in a serious condition and prompted calls online for a protest.
