Ukraine Escalates Long-Range Drone Warfare, Striking Two Key Russian Refineries

In a significant blow to Russia’s military infrastructure, Ukrainian long-range strikes have successfully targeted two major oil refineries deep within Russian territory.
The overnight drone operations struck the Slavyansk refinery in the Krasnodar region—located roughly 300 km from the front lines—where major fires were reported burning out of control. Concurrently, a second strike hit a refinery in the Yaroslavl region, demonstrating Ukraine’s expanding reach at a distance of nearly 700 km from the border.
These precise operations continue to target the economic engine fueling Russia’s military logistics, highlighting a major evolution in Ukraine’s domestic long-range capabilities.
