Trump Lashes Out at Fed Over Decision to Raise Interest Rates

The Federal Reserve raised interest rates for the first time in years amid soaring consumer prices and against the wishes of President Donald Trump. “The board is very hostile. They’re very political. They’re doing the wrong thing,” he said. It comes as the president traveled to battleground North Carolina in an effort to help Republicans maintain control of Congress.
