Fast-moving downpours struck the Southwest, with the region washed out by heavy rain falling more than two inches an hour. In New Mexico, officials say the recovered the bodies of two adults and a child in the remote Navajo nation. Meanwhile in Texas, massive wildfires scorched thousands of acres across the state in desperate need of rain. NBC’s Morgan Chesky reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the latest forecast.
