British actress Mia Goth has officially filed for divorce from actor Shia LaBeouf, putting a definitive end to a turbulent relationship marked by breakups and reconciliations over more than a decade. In documents submitted to the court, the star of the horror franchise X cited irreconcilable differences as the primary reason for the legal separation and noted that the couple had been physically separated since July 2025.
In the filing, Mia Goth requested primary physical and legal custody of the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Isabel, born in 2022. Additionally, the actress requested that the court terminate the ability to award spousal support for either party. Friction and ongoing issues in their living arrangement had been building over recent years, including troubling episodes surrounding LaBeouf’s conduct alongside unsuccessful attempts at reconciliation and treatment.
The relationship began in 2012 during the filming of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II, leading to a Las Vegas wedding ceremony in 2016. Following a formal separation in 2018, the couple renewed their relationship in 2020, but ultimately could not overcome ongoing conflicts. While the actress remains focused on her career and raising her daughter, the actor has since been seen with new partners, closing the chapter on one of Hollywood’s most talked-about relationships.
