Donald Trump addresses Vivek Ramaswamy ad, Russian sanctions and Stephen Hubbard release

As President Donald Trump left the White House Wednesday, he took questions from the press pool. Trump addressed Vivek Ramaswamy ad the features campaign opponent Amy Acton’s estranged mother, saying he didn’t know "what that has to do with Vivek,” despite it being the Republican candidate’s campaign commercial.
Ramaswamy and Acton are both running for governor in Ohio in a race set to be decided on Election Day on Nov. 3. The Democratic candidate has been estranged from her mother, Donna Arthur, since 1978. At the time, her stepfather, Cledith Arthur, faced a rape charge for sexually assaulting Acton when she was 12 years old.
Trump also took questions tied to his handling of Russian sanctions, saying he wouldn’t have otherwise been able to secure Stephen Hubbard release from the country.
