A federal judge is ordering President Trump to testify under oath by December 11th, warning his case against the BBC could be thrown out if he doesn’t cooperate. Former Trump White House attorney Ty Cobb tells Erin Burnett that Trump’s strategy of suing media outlets has “backfired,” explaining that during the deposition, “They will be able to go into all the personal issues from the 34 felonies to the Epstein files.”
Also, Justice Department prosecutors are investigating allegations of contract misconduct at the Department of Homeland Security, including the role of Corey Lewandowski who worked as de facto chief of staff to former Secretary Kristi Noem, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation.
