Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

The Phoenix Union High School District’s board approved 164 jobs cuts as the district is losing millions of dollars in funding due to declining enrollment.
Board members voted 5-1 in favor of the layoffs during a meeting on Thursday night.
The eliminated positions include assistant principals, the director of safety, director of transportation and several support and custodial roles.
