An arrest has been made in connection with three separate shootings in the same north Phoenix area that left two men dead last month.

Court documents detail how 21-year-old Adalberto Pablo Cordova Torres was identified as the suspect in the crimes that occurred in the span of 18 days. He’s being held on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of discharging a firearm at a residence.

Cordova Torres is accused of shooting and killing 45-year-old Marcus Adams, followed by 29-year-old Andreas Samual Olguin five days later. But police say he was also involved in another shooting investigation earlier that month, an incident where no one was hurt.

Stephanie Duprey breaks down the new court documents.
