Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza
By Rodrigo Santos Andrade
The Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) has issued a 72-hour strike notice to Air Transat, meaning a full work stoppage could begin as early as Wednesday, Dec. 10. CTV’s Kimberley Fowler reports that the airline is beginning a "gradual and orderly shutdown" of operations starting Monday to avoid stranding passengers abroad. Management calls the move "reckless," while the union argues it needs a modern contract to reflect industry standards.
