New changes are being implemented in how mail is sent to Arizona inmates as we head into the new year.
The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) announced that, effective Jan. 7, certain types of incoming mail must be sent to a new address in Phoenix.
Officials said packages, publications and official government mail, like veterans, social security and disability checks, will be verified and screened.
