Jeff Mugongo’s wedding video went viral after his 93-year-old grandfather, Gatera, made a surprise 40-hour solo flight from Rwanda to attend the ceremony on Nov. 21.
Gatera, who was recovering from a stroke and speaks no English, was only able to make the lengthy journey thanks to a family effort.
Despite the ordeal, Mugongo reported that his grandfather was "the star of the show," dancing throughout the night.
