George Altman, the groundbreaking all-star who played in three different professional baseball leagues, has died at 92. After a stint in the Army, Altman made his major league debut in 1959 and went on to play three all-star games over nine-year career with the Cubs, Cardinals and Mets. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
