Landmarks around the country have lit up to honour the victims of the Bondi massacre.
The sails of the Sydney Opera House portrayed candles on the Menorah as tribute to the Hanukkah celebration.
NSW Premier Chris Minns said in a statement: “Lighting the Opera House is a simple but powerful gesture: a message to the world that we cherish our Jewish community, that we honour their courage, and that we stand with them in solidarity and love.
“Those candles are a symbol of resilience and a reminder that even in darkness, we choose to stand with one another.”
In Melbourne, Flinders Street Station, the city’s Town Hall, and the Victorian Parliament were amongst the many sites lit up in solidarity.
