Michelle Obama reflected on her friendship with Rob and Michele Reiner one day after their apparent homicides, noting during her December 15 appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ that she and husband Barack Obama were set to see them the day they died. Rob and Michele were found dead in their home in an apparent homicide on the afternoon of December 14. That evening, their son Nick Reiner was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed in a December 15 press release, adding that he remains in custody with no bail.
