Pete Hegseth says full Venezuela boat strike video won’t be released to general public unedited

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told reporters on Dec. 16 that he does not plan to release the full, unedited video of the Sept. 2 strikes on alleged Venezuelan drug boats to the general public. Meanwhile, Sen. Adam Schiff, a Democrat representing California, said "the public should see this."

"I hope that we’ll have support to make it public," Schiff said. "I found the legal explanations and the strategic explanations incoherent, but I think American people should see this video and all members of Congress should have that opportunity. I certainly want it for myself."
