United States Senator Markwayne Mullin points out the hypocrisy of the media for attacking US President Donald Trump for drug boat strikes, while staying silent when former US president Barack Obama did similar actions.
“Underneath Obama, he had 500 strikes, 3700 different individuals were killed, there wasn’t a big show about this,” Mr Mullin said.
“These are drug terrorist organisations. The same people Obama went after.
“What’s the difference between Obama attacking these individuals when they were deemed terrorist organisations in the Middle East versus the ones that are here right now poisoning our streets?”
