Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

The Senate on Dec. 17 passed a $901 billion defense bill that will push Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to provide lawmakers with video strikes on alleged drug boats near Venezuela.
The Associated Press reports the National Defense Authorization Act, which raises troop pay by 3.8%, gained bipartisan backing as it moved through Congress.
President Donald Trump is expected to sign the bill.
