Three days after the bodies of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were discovered in their home, their son Nick Reiner appeared in court for the first time after being charged with their murders. The 32-year-old, accompanied by attorney Alan Jackson, arrived at the courthouse in Los Angles on Dec. 17. During the hearing, according to MS NOW, Nick and his legal team did not enter a plea regarding his charges of two counts of first-degree murder, which include special circumstances of multiple murder and use of a deadly weapon. If found guilty in the eventual trial, Nick’s charges “carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole, or the death penalty,” Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced during a Dec. 16 press conference, though he added, “No decision at this point has been made with respect to the death penalty.” E! News and MS NOW are both part of the NBCUniversal family. Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1426303/rob-reiners-son-nick-reiner-appears-in-court
