Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus has commented on the University of Melbourne’s move to take Australia Day off their cultural event calendar.
“It’s that time of year again where we discuss how Australia Day has been cancelled by yet more institutions, and this time, it’s Melbourne University,” she said.
“They’re completely putting obviously a very negative and one-sided spin on what for many and most Australians … is a day of celebration of Western civilisation.”
