Singapore is stepping up its fight against Kpods – drug-laced e-vaporisers that have driven a year of crackdowns and tougher laws. The devices, often containing the anaesthetic etomidate, have fuelled a surge in enforcement action, even as around 30 users are still caught each day. Now, the response is widening to disrupt supply, while expanding treatment and mental-health support to curb addiction for the longer term. Aslam Shah reports.
