Singapore kitefoiler Max Maeder may be left with just one last shot at winning the Olympic gold medal in his career. This is as World Sailing – the governing body of the sport – has placed the event under review ahead of the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane. Kitefoiling made its Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Games, where Maeder made history by taking the bronze, to become Singapore’s youngest Olympic medallist. Nadine Yeam with more.
