Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese appears to have agreed to calls to launch a royal commission into the Bondi terror shooting.
Jewish groups and the Coalition have been calling for the commitment as part of the federal government’s response to the attack.
New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has backed a state-based royal commission into the incident, with Mr Albanese supporting the call.
