Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Seven days after a terror attack at Bondi Beach, Sydney residents gather to pay tribute to victims and honour acts of heroism, including a German couple, Reuven Mueller, and Syrian refugee Ahmed El Ahmed who disarmed one of the gunmen. A minute of silence is planned for 6:47pm, with candles and yellow lights illuminating buildings as discussions continue about establishing a royal commission into the attack.
