US President Donald Trump says the Epstein files are being used to “deflect” from the “tremendous success” of the Republican Party.

“Today, we’re building the biggest ships in the world, and they’re asking me questions about Jeffrey Epstein,” Mr Trump said.

“A lot of Republicans are angry.”
