President Donald Trump on Monday complained about the release of photos of Jeffrey Epstein with people who may not have known him but ended up in the shot anyway.
Asked if he was surprised by the number of photos of former US President Bill Clinton that were released with the initial batch of files, Trump said he hated to see the photos but that it’s what “most Democrats and a couple of bad Republicans wanted.”
Trump said Clinton is a “big boy. He can handle it.” But he expressed concern about other people who may show up in images with Epstein, saying there is a lot of “anger” and “backlash” about it.
Friday’s partial release of the Epstein files has led to a new rush of criticism from Democrats who have accused the Republican administration of trying to hide information.
