Some neighbourhood Christmas decorations in Singapore are not only getting more creative, but also more sustainable. At one HDB block in Tanjong Pagar, residents have spun trash into tinsel, transforming their void deck with upcycled festive cheer. Meanwhile, at Luxus Hill Drive, close to 90% of the houses voted ‘Yes’ to contribute and engage a contractor to put up the decorations. Beatrice Yap reports.
