Prime Minister Anthony Albanese states Australians must “lower the temperature” of political debate.
“We need to be able to have civil political discourse in this country … to be able to disagree as well as agree, respectively,” Mr Albanese said.
“In a democracy, participation is an essential component, but it does need to be respectful.”
