The son of a former Bangladeshi prime minister has returned after more than 17 years in self-imposed exile. Tarique Rahman is the son of former PM Khaleda Zia. He’s the the de facto leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, one of the country’s two main political forces. The 60-year-old was convicted in absentia on graft charges and has led the BNP from London since 2008. Bangladesh will hold elections in February.
