The US is facing another government shutdown when Congress returns to work in January.
Questions are being raised as to whether lawmakers can address the reason behind spiking healthcare premiums.
Some lawmakers can address healthcare in 2026, as it will be an election year, and that will compel action.
Some Republicans hope to use a special process to bypass a Senate filibuster and pass their own healthcare bill and campaign on that in 2026.
