A host of changes have come into effect in Australia, including both price hikes and savings.
Welfare payments will increase for youth allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY, Youth Disability, Pension, and Carer Allowance.
The cost of medicines on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme has been capped at $25 per script.
The Federal Government’s Energy Rebate Scheme expires, meaning households can no longer claim the $150 benefit.
The price of a 10-year adult passport will increase to $422, and a 5-year child passport will increase to $213.
