Former home affairs secretary Mike Pezzullo explains what peace prospects Ukraine could have in the future.

“I just fear that Putin’s not going to back off from his outrageous demands for territory,” Mr Pezzullo told Sky News Australia.

“I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think this is intractable.

“My call at the moment would be that there’s a less than 50 per cent chance of getting some kind of sustainable or enduring peace.”
