Investigators believe sparkling flares on Champagne bottles sparked a deadly fire during a New Year’s celebration at a Swiss ski resort bar.
The blaze at Le Constellation in Crans-Montana killed 40 people and injured 119, making it one of Switzerland’s worst tragedies.
Authorities say a rapid flashover and crowded escape routes worsened the disaster, as officials continue identifying victims and searching for the missing.
