Victorian Deputy Opposition Leader Sam Groth to quit politics

Victoria Liberal Party Deputy Leader Sam Groth has announced he won’t recontest his seat of Nepean at the state election in November.
Sam Groth entered parliament in 2022 and rose to deputy leadership two years later.
Mr Groth said in a public statement that it becomes impossible to put the "best interests of Victorians" first when you find yourself fighting against your own team.
