Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has sparred on air with NBC’s Kristen Welker over Venezuela’s oil supply.
The Secretary of State’s comments come after US forces captured the Venezuelan leader and his wife, Cilia Flores, in a large-scale raid on January 3.
Maduro is currently detained in New York, indicted with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States.
Rubio argued that the US has a sufficient oil supply for itself, but said America was not going to allow the oil industry in Venezuela to be controlled by adversaries.
The Secretary of State goes on to say he wants the proceeds from Venezuelan oil to go to the Venezuelan people.
Rubio also debated how the capture of Maduro was in the US national interest, calling the captured Venezuelan leader "illegitimate".
