Big win as Trump announces Venezuela will hand over up to 50 million barrels of oil to the US

US President Donald Trump has said Venezuela’s interim leaders will turn over 30-50 million gallons of “high-quality” oil to America.
The decision follows Operation Absolute Resolve, which saw the capture of Venezuelan Dictator Nicolas Maduro and his wife on Saturday.
Since the arrest of Maduro and Cilia Flores, the couple were hauled to New York City to face criminal drug charges.
Trump revealed that the turnover of the oil by Venezuela to the US will be sold at market price, with the president controlling the proceeds.
The president asserted his control of the proceeds is to ensure it is “used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States.”
