Australia’s Ambassador to the US Kevin Rudd has met Bondi hero Ahmed al Ahmed.
The former prime minister uploaded a photo on his X account standing alongside the Sydney man.
The post reads, “Ahmed, you are one of our great Australians. Your actions at Bondi showed true courage in the face of terror, saved countless lives, and inspired so many across Australia and here in the United States. Hearing your story in person, I am struck by your grace and compassion. You represent the very best of Australia.”
