Tanzanian expert: China’s rural development a viable model for Africa

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, calling for deepening comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. The visit is part of Wang Yi’s annual Africa tour. CGTN’s Chen Lanyou spoke to Bonamax Mbasa, a senior lecturer from the Institute of Rural Development Planning at Lake Zone Centre in Mwanza. He said that China’s experience in rural revitalization sets a great example for Tanzania in pursuing its own development goals.
