‘To the last drop of blood’: Cuba’s President hits back at Trump’s threat as tensions heat up

Cuba’s President Miguel Diaz-Canel has hit back at US President Donald Trump’s recent threat against his country in a defiant social media post.
President Trump ramped up pressure on Cuba in a Truth Social post on Sunday after he warned the Communist-run island to “make a deal before it is too late”.
President Trump also announced that no more Venezuelan oil and money would go to Cuba.
In a fiery response to Trump’s recent threat, Diaz-Canel hit back on X, claiming the US had “no moral authority to point fingers at Cuba on anything”.
He warned that Cuba was “ready to defend the homeland to the last drop of blood”.
