O-Level results: Nearly 87% of students score five passes and above

Close to 87% of students who sat for last year’s GCE O-Level exams achieved a grade of C6 or better in five or more subjects. This is a 0.8 percentage point decrease from the 2024 cohort. More than 22,400 candidates received their O-Level results from their secondary schools today. CNA’s Nadine Yeam spoke to a student who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was in Secondary 1 and is now in remission, and another who was promoted from the Normal (Academic) stream to Express in Secondary 2.
