On this special report, the focus is on Donald Trump’s latest diplomatic stance regarding the Arctic and Greenland. The former President has issued a strong message to NATO and Denmark, asserting that ‘NATO Needs to throw out China and Russia from Greenland’ to protect America’s strategic interests. Trump reiterated his claim over the territory, describing it as essential for the United States’ Arctic future. In a provocative social media post, he mocked Denmark’s capabilities using a dog sled analogy, suggesting that only the US possesses the power to drive out rival influences. The report explores whether Greenland or Iran will be the next primary target for American foreign policy under his vision. The programme examines the escalating rhetoric as Trump ups the ante on international security and territorial importance, questioning the future of Denmark’s sovereignty over the region in the face of American Arctic ambitions.
