Actor Ansel Elgort has been photographed publicly for the first time with his baby, marking a new chapter in the life of the Baby Driver star.

The 31-year-old actor was spotted in New York City earlier this week riding the subway alongside his partner and their child, offering a rare glimpse into his life as a new father.

In the photos, Elgort is seen cradling the baby while commuting through Manhattan on a chilly day. He wore a blue sweater paired with leather pants, while his partner walked beside him dressed in a Prada outfit. The baby appeared bundled in a cozy onesie and secured in a papoose, suggesting the family was prepared for winter temperatures in the city.

Additional images captured Elgort and his partner enjoying a leisurely walk through New York with her parents. The group appeared relaxed and cheerful as they strolled through the city, keeping a low profile while spending time together. The outing marked a noticeable contrast to Elgort’s last widely circulated public appearances in 2022, when he was photographed traveling in Europe.

Elgort, best known for his roles in Baby Driver, The Fault in Our Stars, and West Side Story, has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years. His latest appearance suggests a shift in focus toward family life, as he embraces fatherhood away from the usual Hollywood attention.

While Elgort has not publicly shared details about the birth or his partner, the photos confirm that the actor has quietly entered a new phase of his personal life. Fans have reacted with surprise and congratulations as images of the actor navigating New York City as a dad began circulating online.

The sighting highlights Elgort’s low-key approach to parenthood, choosing everyday moments like subway rides over red carpet appearances.
