Palestinian engineer tasked with rebuilding Gaza and providing humanitarian aid

A US-backed plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip will be administered by Palestinian civil engineer Ali Shaath.
He will lead a group of 15 Palestinian technocrats tasked with governing Gaza.
He will face the job of providing humanitarian needs to more than two million people.
Mr Shaath says it shouldn’t take more than three years to remove and reuse the rubble.
