‘Waste of money’: Labor’s gun buyback labelled ‘compensated confiscation’

Shooters Union Vice President David Brown claims Labor’s gun buyback is “laughable”, labeling it “compensated confiscation”.
“We’re in a cost-of-living crisis, allegedly, why are we wasting billions of dollars on theft of guns from law-abiding people?” Mr Brown told Sky News Australia.
“You could spend it on ASIO and get them to their job, that might stop another Bondi.
“Not going to change public safety one bit, it’s a waste of money.”
