Latest Newspoll shows One Nation ahead of the Coalition amid major surge in support

The first polls since the Bondi terror attack have been released, and the results are showing how voter preference has shifted.
According to the latest Newspoll in The Australian, One Nation’s primary vote has increased seven points to 22 per cent.
The Coalition has dropped three points to a record low of 21 per cent while Labor’s vote also declined.
However, Anthony Albanese remains the preferred prime minister, leading ahead of Sussan Ley 51 to 31 per cent.
Similar results have been observed by Reserve Political Monitor in Nine Newspapers, which shows One Nation gaining support and Labor’s primary vote dropping while the Coalition’s remains steady.
